Fiber Optic Remote Switches - 4017
Remote control switch installs in 5 minutes to your countertop, sink or cabinetry and is perfect for use with an island. Conveniently operates the disposer with a simple press of a button. This fiber optic remote switch has no wiring connections or code restrictions. We carry them in Satin Nickel, Chrome, White and Biscuit.

Advantages of Fiber Optic Remote Controller
• Fiber Optic Control: Plastic optical fiber is durable and will not decay or crack over time. Plastic optical fiber is the perfect insulator between the user and 120V.

• Plug-In Insulation: The garbage disposer plugs into the Remote Controller control box. Hard wiring is not required.

• No Need of Electrician: Save money by doing it yourself.

• Hole size for install: 3/8” 1 1/4” N/A Few people have a 1 1/4” drill bit that will go through a sink. Remote Controller install only needs a 3/8” hole.

• Wet hands operation: The plastic fiber optic line is not an electrical conductor. There is no risk of shock.

• 20 second timeout: Automatically shuts off after 20 seconds. A safety feature extending the life of the disposer. Mechanical movement 3/64” 1” N/A Only movement of the Remote Controller is the membrane switch, when depressed.

• No Crud Factor: “Crud” from kitchen waste can get into the well of the air switch causing operational problems. The membrane switch ensures consistent, easy operation.

• Corrosion: Remote Controller membrane switch won’t corrode.
